Dr. Belarmino Cordero founded Eumada and leads its strategic direction, business development, and innovation agenda.

His career has bridged architecture, engineering, academia, and industry — always with sustainability at the core — across projects in Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, for clients including Foster + Partners, Calatrava, Nikken Sekkei, and UNStudio.

 

He holds a PhD in Architectural Construction and Technology from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (with research at Cambridge University) and an MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from UCL.

His research received EPSRC and IStructE funding.

He has taught at Cambridge, UCL, and CERN, and filed an international patent application in insulating glass technology.

Dr. Mercedes Gargallo leads Eumada’s operations and quality framework, ensuring the practice scales without compromising the standards it is known for.

Her technical background spans façade engineering, building technology, sustainability, and site supervision — a breadth that directly informs how she structures and governs a multidisciplinary practice.

 

She holds a PhD in Architectural Construction Technology. Her work has been recognised with the International Award for Façade Engineering Excellence (2016), the Zak Awards (2024), and an SFE Innovation Award (2024). She is a member of the RIBA Gulf Chapter and the SFE Middle East Hub Committee.

Dimitrios leads Eumada's acoustics practice, bringing expertise in building acoustics, noise control, and vibration transmission across the Middle East, the UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

His portfolio spans residential, hospitality, educational, healthcare, entertainment, and commercial projects, with particular depth in complex mixed-use developments and high-end hospitality.

He is a Member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA) and the Middle East Acoustic Society.
