Belarmino Cordero
Director
With an academic background in architecture, environmental design and construction technologies, Dr. Belarmino Cordero brings a unique approach to the construction industry based on care for architectural detail, innovation and providing integrated solutions to complex multidisciplinary issues. His career has bridged between architecture and engineering, academia and industry, always with sustainability at the core. Working with leading architectural practices, contractors, developers and statutory bodies across Europe, America and the Middle East has exposed him to a wide range of cultures and approaches to resolving problems and has taught him to listen carefully, communicate clearly and work collaboratively towards a common vision.

Designer by CEPT with Master’s degree in Parametric Design in Architecture from the UPC, Barcelona, Spain. Specialized in computational design, digital fabrication and robotic fabrication with experience in timber and metal structures fabricated using computational and digital tools.

Acoustic engineer with over 15 years of experience. Passionate about developing high quality, innovative and creative acoustic solutions to resolve the client and project requirements. Has worked on flagship projects such as Library of Birmingham (Mecanoo) and the Louvre in Abu Dhabi (Jean Nouvel).
